A senior home lending advisor with Chase, Flaherty assists clients ranging from first-time homebuyers who are purchasing with 3% down to private clients utilizing Chase’s specialized jumbo mortgage products and programs. In the industry for 27 years, he makes his accessibility to his clients a priority. “I am available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to answer all requests, big or small,” he notes. “Yes, that includes weekends and holidays.”
The recipient of the 2016 Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association’s Best Mortgage Loan Officer award in the Large Bank category, Flaherty ranks in the top 10 in the nation for Chase’s President’s Club award in 2025 and is a 10-time honoree, with $1.45 billion in total loan volume for over 2,800 clients. Included among Chicago Agent’s Who’s Who in Chicagoland Residential Real Estate profiles for eight years, he leads a team of three mortgage professionals, including Nick Natale, Melissa Mannix and Dave Poletti. “We work together to consistently provide the highest level of service possible,” he insists. “We want to ensure our clients receive a best-in-class mortgage experience.”
With an economics degree from the University of Virginia, Flaherty lives in North Center with his wife and their French bulldog, Yogi. The couple enjoy traveling and are returning to Holualoa, Hawaii, for New Year’s.
