What was your first job in the realty industry?
I started as a part-time agent for Coldwell Banker.

What is your favorite free-time activity?
How did you learn the business?
It was really hard, because so many agents don’t want to share, which is part of the reason why I started the Steele Consulting Group.
What was your most difficult sale, and how did you succeed?
Short sales and foreclosures continue to challenge me. They are the most unpredictable deals due to their distressed nature. I use my creativity to make a win-win situation and persistence until the job is done. I’ve become really good at them.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
The shortage of time
What was your worst job, and what did you learn from it?
My worst job was when I didn’t have one. Then I learned that I could make my own and start a business.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
I receive many referrals from past clients, mortgage bankers, financial advisors, attorneys, etc. I share knowledge with people and educate them about real estate first.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Earning a full football scholarship to Northwestern University, graduating with a computer engineering degree and receiving a Rose Bowl and Citrus Bowl Big Ten Championship Ring are some of my greatest accomplishments.
