Building coordinator for an office building downtown

What is your favorite free-time activity?
I am ashamed to say, but nevertheless addicted, to watching America’s Next Top Model.

How did you learn the business?
I learned by trial and error and asking lots of questions of my coworkers and broker.

What was your most difficult sale, and how did you succeed?
A townhome in the South Loop; I had to have the “come to Jesus” talk with my sellers. It sold one week later.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Finding a new client that does not have a second cousin who sells real estate part-time.

What was your worst job, and what did you learn from it?
Telemarketing: I learned that cold calling is not the way I want to build my business.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
Social gatherings

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Surviving the first three years in real estate

Where would you like to be in five years, professionally?
Vacationing during the cold months while my team handles the “day-to-day” business
