The typical homebuyer, according to the National Association of Realtors 2013 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, searched for 12 weeks and viewed 10 homes before choosing one.
What the statistics don’t tell us is how many of those homes were new construction. Now that new construction activity is increasing – construction loans, lot purchases, new developments and new home sales – it’s important to let your buyers know that there are more options on the market in both resales and new construction.
