Earning her real estate license while attending the University of Kansas, Mary Higley began her full-time career before graduating from college. She quickly developed a passion for helping others and today she knows that real estate is the career she was meant to pursue.
Now with over a decade of experience, Higley works as a real estate broker at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. She is a longtime member of the Home Discovery Team — ranked the company’s No. 1 team — and has been mentored by team lead Jennifer Mills Klatt.
Higley specializes in the North Shore suburbs and the city of Chicago. She grew up in the North Shore, and after living in the city, she moved back to raise her family there. She is confident and proud to now work in the area she has always called home.
Since nearly all her clients come from referrals, Higley’s business is grounded in relationships. She describes herself as a “relationship broker,” not a transactional one. Having bought, renovated and sold homes herself, she knows how personal such processes are, helping her clients discover properties that fit their lifestyles and investment goals.
Higley’s work earned her early recognition within the industry. She was nominated for Rookie of the Year by Chicago Agent magazine and received the Rising Star Award at her company during her first year.
Outside of real estate, Higley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and being outdoors. She is an active guild member at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview, the same parish and school she attended growing up. Today, she lives in Glenview with her husband, Mark (also a Glenview native), and their children, daughter Claire and son Charlie.
