Most of her business derives from referrals and repeat clients because Lyn Harvie makes it a priority to maintain close relationships with her clients. “I take it as a great compliment when my clients return to me for their next real estate experience,” she shares. “I have a lot of satisfaction in knowing they want to continue using me as their go-to real estate professional.”

A top-producing broker with Baird & Warner, Harvie originally earned her real estate license in order to learn how to purchase investment properties. After shadowing an agent to learn the ins and outs of the business, she made real estate her full-time career. “I’ve never had any regrets about making that decision,” she admits. “It’s such a blessing to be a part of my clients’ journeys as their lives continue to evolve and grow.” Her clients include first-time homebuyers, international buyers relocating to the area, empty nesters who are downsizing, investors, sellers and luxury buyers.

The Chicago Association of Realtors listed Harvie as a Top Producer in 2022 and 2023. She ranked in the top 1% of brokers at Baird & Warner, earning her Founder’s Club status. She also actively supports the firm’s goodwill committee at its Lincoln Park office. Recognized for being process-oriented, she credits her candor for her success. “My clients appreciate that I am always very honest and upfront with them,” she explains. “It’s crucial to set up clear expectations at the beginning.”
