Before beginning her real estate career, Afrouz Kameli enjoyed 20 successful years working in the health care industry. “My background taught me a customer-centered work philosophy,” she says. “I learned the importance of listening to clients’ needs and guiding them through the decision-making process.”

In the industry for 10 years, Kameli is a broker with Home Smart Connect handling transactions involving single-family homes, multifamily residences, condos, townhomes and commercial retail buildings for first-time buyers, luxury clients and investors. Working out of the company’s Arlington Heights office, she covers DuPage County and the surrounding areas. “I have extensive knowledge of the western suburbs of Chicagoland, where I’ve lived for the past 25 years,” she explains. “Being a local resident provides me with a familiarity and understanding of the local towns, villages and subdivisions.”

Kameli was recognized among the top 1% of producers which inducted her into the Chairman’s Club in 2021 and Founder’s Club in 2023. The recipient of numerous accolades, she also received recognition for excellence in client service from Google in 2019 and Homesnap in 2020. Crediting her professionalism and honesty for her success, she takes a straightforward approach, remarking, “My clients appreciate my valuable insights into the homebuying process and current market conditions.”

With a degree in economics, Kameli brings over 25 years of industrial experience to her career. Residing in Schaumburg with her husband, she spends her time painting and enjoying the outdoors.
