With so many parties involved in real estate transactions, Elliot Small and Olivia Stohle know that communication is essential to success. The better they communicate and collaborate, the smoother the process is for everyone.
Small and Stohle, top-producing real estate brokers with the Elliot Small Group at Compass, combined have more than 20 years of experience in real estate. They represent buyers and sellers in the city and on the North Shore. Small has come full circle: He grew up on the North Shore, lived in the city for the past 15 years and recently moved to Glencoe to raise a family. Real estate is part of his heritage; he grew up observing his grandfather’s involvement in various real estate ventures, learning from him about real estate investment and how to be a good landlord. His teammate, Stohle, also grew up on the North Shore, in Northfield, but has lived in the West Loop for the past several years.
Clients compliment Stohle on her expert knowledge of the city’s vibrant neighborhoods and appreciate her ability to make the transaction process stress-free. “I am honest and tell my clients all angles of their real estate purchase to make sure they are as informed as possible,” she says.
To set clients up for success, the teammates provide them with detailed buyer and seller books that explain the process from start to finish. They also ask a lot of questions so as to understand each client’s goals and set expectations in preparation for achieving them.
Both Small and Stohle go out of their way to make clients feel supported, educated and heard. “I treat each sale with the same attention to detail I would if it was for myself or a family member,” Small says.
Day or night, clients can rely on the duo for answer or an empathic ear.
