He mastered this technique early in his career when he owned a small business for power-washing and staining decks and fences. “There was stiff competition, and I had to figure out ways to get consumer attention and differentiate my company and services from the competition, which prepared me for real estate and marketing unique and luxury homes,” he says.

LaFido is the founder of the Luxury Specialist Designation (LUXE) and the CEO of the real estate consulting company Marketing Luxury Group.
