Megan Tirpak was 25 working in advertising and looking to transition into sales, when residential real estate piqued her interest. “I dove in and started to learn about the industry by talking to other Realtors,” Tirpak remembers. “I began my career in 2003 as a licensed real estate assistant to a top-producing team at Coldwell Banker.” Now a broker with @properties, she has an assistant who helps ensure they meet the fast-paced environment of the industry. “I can go the extra mile for my clients because I am not just a one-person show,” she points out. “We make sure to execute at the highest level.”
Tirpak grew up in Lakeview and has lived in Lincoln Park for 10 years. Her clients include luxury and first-time home buyers as well as investors throughout Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Near North, Roscoe Village, Northcenter, Logan Square, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Irving Park, Old Irving and Andersonville. “I have seen these neighborhoods grow, flourish and change,” she shares. “I am an expert in Chicago real estate after working in this business for over 20 years.”
Closing over $31 million in sales last year, Tirpak was recently awarded the Master’s Circle designation in 2023 by @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, which is presented to an exclusive group of 250 agents across Christie’s International’s global network. A Certified Negotiation Expert, @properties named her in the top 100 agents, the Chicago Association of Realtors listed her as among the top 1% of agents in 2022 and she received the Chicago Association of Realtors’ Bronze Level status. “To have been chosen to work alongside each and every client as they make such a deeply personal decision is always an honor,” she says.
With a 100% referral-based business, Tirpak strives to make the process easier for her clients, taking as much stress as possible out of every situation while meeting the necessary timeframe. When not working, she enjoys exercising, playing paddle tennis, spending time with her family and being involved in her kids’ schools.
