Michelle Liffick, Broker Associate

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Michelle Liffick practiced law as a litigation attorney before switching gears. She realized that she did not enjoy the combative nature of litigation. Instead, she liked bringing people together, finding common ground. So: real estate. For the past 17 years, Liffick has brought her experience to clients in a style that she describes as “fun, light and easy on the outside; business and strategy on the inside.”

Specializing in residential real estate, Liffick serves Chicago and the city’s surrounding suburbs. She loves the adventure of serving clients in a large metro area where there’s always something new to discover. Having lived in “Logandale” (on the very edge of Logan Square and Avondale) for 11 years, she does much of her business on the Northwest Side but also works all over the city. She notes, “I go where my clients need me.” Indeed, the needs of her clientele are a top priority. Whether a client is still learning about the market or a seasoned investor, Liffick’s approach is tailored to facilitate the best outcome and to honor her client’s best interests. Her mostly referral-based clients describe her as an honest, loyal and devoted ally.

Liffick is a hands-on, courteous professional. Communicative and insightful, she knew early on that the recent pandemic would be a significant ordeal and pivoted during that time to honor the anxieties it caused for consumers and professionals in real estate. Her interpersonal ability, negotiation savvy and additional previous work as a marketing director for a nonprofit music and cultural center fuel her ability to thrive and to help her clients succeed, no matter the circumstances.

A member of her local Realtor association and active in her community, Liffick is an avid gardener, cares for a colony of working feral cats and is in the midst of a parkway beautification project involving native plants. She also loves to watch birds and other wildlife among the city’s trees, along its streets, and in its beautiful parks.
