Kacia Snyder, Real Estate Professional

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Agent Kacia Snyder is celebrating her fifth year as a licensed broker by expanding into northwest Indiana. “I will be listing SoLa, a mixed-use development coming to the shoreline of Michigan City, Indiana,” she says. “I can tell you now that we’ll have at least 150 condos and 19 duplexed townhomes at launch.”

Having begun her career in the fitness industry in Los Angeles, Snyder eventually discovered her true calling in the world of real estate. “I transitioned into sales after moving to Chicago, and I thought that I could compete in an industry that is focused primarily on relationships. I got my broker’s license, and the rest is history,” she remembers.

Today, she attributes her success to a combination of client satisfaction and diligent communication. “For me, it’s not about the sale. It’s about my clients being 100 percent happy with my service and ensuring that we are communicating throughout the entire process,” Snyder says.

While interpersonal relationships are the cornerstone of her enterprise, Snyder also prides herself on her ability to leverage multiple marketing tools to ensure her sellers consistently receive competitive offers. “I try to use every sort of technology that’s available, whether that’s social media, creative video or targeted Google ads — pretty much everything that’s out there — to get as much exposure as possible,” she explains. Her individual advertising efforts, combined with the broad digital footprint supported by Sotheby’s, allows Snyder to access an international marketplace for her clients.

Having established her position as a broker in Chicago, Snyder is excited by the opportunities awaiting in Michigan City, where the SoLa project will bolster the inventory of lakefront property. “I have been working with the developers and Jameson Sotheby’s development team over the last year to help design the project and assist with figuring out what will sell in this particular area,” she shares. “It’s definitely been something new and challenging.”

Snyder is active in the Real Estate Investors Association and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteers with Gentiva Hospice.
