Serving as a bridge between Chicago and the North Shore, Billie Diamond puts positive energy out into the world every day in her work as a broker. She partnered with @properties Christie’s International Realty 16 years ago and says their message of giving back to the community, spreading love and being a good person are key.

Diamond moved to Chicago over 20 years ago after graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder. While she’s always worked in sales, her first careers in retail and cable didn’t fulfill her like real estate does. “I wanted to work with people in a way where I could develop meaningful relationships with clients and feel like I was making a difference,” she says.

Through hundreds of transactions and experience renovating multiple homes, Diamond knows how to streamline the sale and negotiation process and can tap into dozens of well-vetted subcontractors to make even a little rehab work go smoothly. “I love that I can be a sounding board and spend as much time as it takes to listen and talk through my clients’ needs and concerns.”

In 2022, Diamond achieved the highest sales volume of her double-decade career in real estate. She says her depth of experience gives her clients a sense of calm and confidence in a market that lately has been anything but calm.

“I can empathize with my clients’ nerves and concerns and give them the confidence that we’ve got this,” she says. “A sale to me isn’t just a transaction, but it’s getting to the heart of what my clients need in their next stage of life and finding the solutions.”

Outside of work, Diamond is the proud mother of three teenage daughters. She and her husband have renovated every house they’ve lived in and are experienced multi-unit landlords in Chicago.
