Wheaton, Illinois, native Victoria Schutte was encouraged by colleagues to consider a career in real estate after moving to Oak Park. She spent her early professional life working in city management, managing large construction budgets and analyzing/negotiating facilities management contracts. Prior to earning her master’s degree, Schutte worked as a cost analyst for a Fortune 500 firm. Experienced in business analytics, renovations and management, she is uniquely qualified to guide her clients through a smooth closing.
Schutte not only is an expert in the Oak Park/River Forest markets, but also has a rich knowledge of the western suburbs and southwestern Michigan, where she owns a 30-acre farm and spends time helping friends and clients find their dream weekend getaway properties. Her clients describe her as a trustworthy expert and excellent communicator. “My clients see me as professional, knowledgeable, talented and practical,” she says. “They feel that they can give me artistic and business control over the sale of their homes — they often defer to my expertise on staging, pricing marketing.” Through her focused business prowess, Schutte finds that her ability to connect leads her to welcome many of her clients as friends.
Recognizing that the support of friends, family and clientele has facilitated her success, Schutte is proud to have earned the Road to Rolex award with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate in acknowledgment of her significant sales volume. She also credits her resiliency and flexibility for her ability to help clients achieve their goals while exceeding their expectations. Her dedication, staging ability and strategic use of social media are also key reasons Schutte’s listings sell at an average of 20 days more quickly than other properties.
Schutte rejuvenates by spending time with her family at their Michigan farm. She also enjoys exploring flea market finds and is an avid horseback rider.
