Tamara Lynn Hernandez, Real Estate Agent

RE/MAX In the Village

There’s a shark in the water, and her name is Tamara Lynn Hernandez. “I do not take ‘no’ for an answer when it comes to my clients,” she says. Using the leadership skills she honed as an owner of various businesses, Hernandez serves a diverse clientele in Lake, Cook, Kane and McHenry Counties and will tackle any product type. Her real estate career is the culmination of a lifelong dream.

In just four years, Hernandez has created quite a stir in the industry. The National Association of

Hispanic Real Estate Professionals ranked her among the top 250 brokers in the nation and the top 100 in the Midwest (2021,2022). Homesnap honored her with their Top Agent award and listed her among the top 5 percent (2021,2022). Additionally, the North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors placed her in the top 5 percent for sales production in 2020 and in the top 1 percent for sales production in 2021. Her accolades from RE/MAX include the 100% Club and MVP Award (2020), and the Platinum Club and Top Producer (2021).

Clients appreciate Hernandez’s expertise, straightforward communication style and willingness to go the extra mile. They know she’ll protect them and act with their best interests at heart, which is why she’s earned their recommendations and referrals. Hernandez considers trust, education and consistency to be the cornerstones of her success, and she treats her clients like family and refuses to let them give up on their dreams of homeownership. “I really focus on helping people find their dream home, and I never focus on how much money they have or their status,” she says. “It’s about bringing dreams home.”

Hernandez now leads a large team called The Tamara Lynn Group, driving and coaching new agents to success by showing them the ropes and leading by example. However, for Hernandez, these accomplishments are just the beginning. “Bigger things are coming for 2023, to continue blessing the Latino community,” she says. “I was also an immigrant—I’m Mexican-born myself. Helping my community is what I have near my heart. I’m a prime example of the American dream. Anything is possible when you believe in yourself.”
