Jason L. Marsing, Licensed Managing Broker

Main Street Real Estate Group

Always showing up early and ready to go, Jason Marsing sets every client up for success. “I don’t treat real estate as a sales job,” says Marsing, a licensed managing broker at Main Street Real Estate Group. “I’m providing a knowledge-based service and see career growth as a byproduct of experience, not just pushing numbers.” Specializing in first- and second-time buyers within the Loop, South Loop, River East, Streeterville and West Loop, Marsing knows the ins and outs of the city center’s best high rises. With 95 percent of his client base coming from his sphere of influence and referrals, Marsing develops relationships built on mutual trust and professionalism and ensures that realistic expectations are set from the start.

Working as model and bartender in Chicago before relocating to Iowa with his father and opening a True Value Hardware Store, Marsing soon returned to his former stomping grounds to begin his real estate career. “Growing up, my father was always working on the house and remodeling different rooms,” he explains. “Of course, I was put to work and that inside look into how homes are created and maintained carries over to my current career.”

Since obtaining his license in 2014, Marsing has gone on to become a Military Relocation Professional, Pricing Strategy Advisor, Accredited Buyer Representative, Seller Representative Specialist and he earned his Green Designation. “I’m a big believer in on-the-job training,” he says, noting that he helps out other teams with their open houses, showings, inspections and final walkthroughs. “While you learn a lot during the licensing process, you learn the most from getting your hands dirty,” he says.

Marsing is a major baseball fan and has visited 23 of the 30 baseball stadiums in the country. He also boasts a massive collection of baseball cards spanning over 60 years.
