Sue Hall, Real Estate Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

As it turns out, teachers make fantastic real estate brokers. 38 years ago, Sue Hall decided to utilize the exceptional organizational skills she developed as a teacher and pursue a career in real estate. She serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines and Chicago markets, handling all residential property types, as well as some commercial products.

The results of Hall’s decision to change careers speak for themselves. She was the No. 1 Century 21 agent in Illinois in 2016 and 2017. For over 20 consecutive years, she was the No. 1 agent at Century 21 Elm. Hall also has the distinction of winning the Five Star Real Estate Agent award for 11 years in a row and is in the top 1% of all of Five Star’s agents (2020, 2021).

Hall prepares her clients by explaining the entire transaction process to them from start to finish. Then she simply listens. That’s the secret to her success. “I’m a good listener,” she explains. “I zero in on people’s wants and needs.” Her professional, understanding demeanor and sincere concern for her clients don’t go unnoticed. They consistently describe her as “hardworking and knowledgeable,” she relates, adding, “I always put their needs first.” Hall also finds that clients value her direct approach to offering advice. “I’m very candid in my opinions and I’m a straight shooter,” she states. Most of her business comes her way via referrals, and she emphasizes that her tenacity is what makes working with her different from working with other agents. So does her enjoyment of her work. “After 38 years in the business, I still love what I do,” she declares.

Philanthropic activities are also an important part of Hall’s life. The fundraiser she sponsored last October for the Illinois nonprofit Wings provided help to survivors of domestic violence. She’s also an avid pickleball player.
