With over 44 years of real estate experience behind him, Mark Kloss, a broker for @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, is a titan of the industry. Growing up on Chicago’s South Side, Kloss developed a strong base of knowledge for the area, which allowed him to find success following the footsteps of his mother into the real estate industry. “I opened up my own successful real estate office after eight years in the industry,” he says. “The next 33 years, I’ve continued to grow my business in the Nortwest Suburbs.”

Managing over 1000 clients, Kloss has cultivated a network of success. “I managed up to over 100 agents, too,” he proclaims. “It has taught me how to multitask and listen while getting the goals reached for all involved.” Mastering multitasking has allowed him to experience his most successful years ever from 2020 to 2022, which, he says, is a result of his upbringing on a farm.

Personable and a master of the Chicago real estate industry, Kloss has had tremendous success in recent years. Throughout the pandemic, he managed to continue to garner all his business through referrals and past clients. He has been awarded the Mainstreet Platinum Award for being in the top 1% of all agents in closed units and volume, the Top 5% Award Nationwide by the National Association of Realtors and the @properties Road to Rolex award.

Blessed with a loving and growing family, Kloss is a father and grandfather first. “My heart belongs to my six grandchildren,” he says. “I’m so blessed to have good health and the ability to continue a successful career.” Philanthropy also plays an important role in his life, as he is an avid supporter of multiple local charities and monasteries.
