Chicago and North Shore agent Margi Hazlett is a recipient of the Road to Rolex award from @properties Christie’s International Real Estate in recognition of her exceptional sales volume for 2021. With 14 years of experience, Hazlett has served areas as far north as Lake Forest, all the way down to the South Loop and occasionally out west to Oak Park. Her clients say she’s a model broker who is knowledgeable, approachable and always available to provide professional insights and negotiate effectively on their behalf.

Hazlett was born and raised in Evanston and, for the past 15 years, has lived in several neighborhoods around Chicago. “I grew up in the business,” she says. “Between my mom, who has been a top producer for the past 30 years, and her longtime colleagues, I was able to observe and learn from some of the most successful agents in the area. After I returned to Chicago from living on the East Coast, I knew I wanted to give real estate a try.”

Hazlett now works alongside her mother, Jan Hazlett. The duo pride themselves on using their shared knowledge and skills to create a successful and enjoyable experience for their clients.

Hazlett has helped her clients formulate creative solutions during the past few years to help them achieve successful outcomes in the increasingly competitive market. “No transaction is the same, and in this ever-evolving industry, I think my adaptability and the ability to change gears quickly when needed has been very instrumental,” she says. To reset and realign, Hazlett enjoys painting and pottery and, when her busy work schedule allows, traveling abroad or back to the East Coast.
