Magda Antillon-Mathews, better known as Maggie, is a highly-acclaimed business leader and educator in the real estate industry. Originally a social worker, Antillon-Mathews has a passion for helping others.
Antillon-Mathews has served the real estate community for over 20 years. She has dedicated her talents to buyers, sellers and investors throughout the Chicagoland area and its suburbs. During her leadership, Antillon-Mathews has contributed to the expansion of Realty of Chicago’s Northside office, cementing the company’s market share, where she has been an integral part of the growth in sales and broker head count year over year. As a result, she was awarded managing broker of the year by the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (2021-2022).
Antillon-Mathews is a certified Pricing Strategy Advisor, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource, Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives specialist and a Certified Distressed Property Expert and is well versed in working with investors and rehabbers. She’s ranked in the Top 250 with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
Within the past several years, Antillon-Mathews has taken on leadership and mentoring roles at her brokerage, which has has contributed to the growth of some of the top-producing brokers in the industry. She says she’s grateful for the opportunity to provide new brokers with the tools, resources and mentorship that she did not have access to early in her career.
Antillon-Mathews has collaborated on three books, is a two-time best-selling author and her latest best-selling book, “Latinas in Real Estate: Stories of Passion, Resilience, and Breaking Barriers of Latinas in the Real Estate Industry,” which was published in May, is now available on Amazon. The book is an anthology of stories from Latina women like Antillon-Mathews who have found success in the industry. To date the book has been well received and already so many readers. Antillon-Mathews asserts that her life ministry is to be the change and make a difference in the world.
