After almost a decade in the business, Baird & Warner broker associate Lyn Harvie knows what it takes to deliver clients a first-rate experience. She works diligently to make sure they are up to date and can make the best decisions possible, and if you told her 10 years ago that she would be doing this for a living, she wouldn’t have believed you. “I got my real estate license so I could buy investment properties for myself,” she says. “It turned out that I really enjoyed real estate, and my managing broker gave me the nudge to consider it as a full-time career.”
Harvie takes it upon herself to make sure her clients are fully informed every step of the way. “I believe my clients value the way I educate them about real estate,” she affirms. “The best compliment is when a client tells you there were no surprises.”
Her relationships with her clients did not falter during the pandemic, despite the challenges. Harvie made sure her clients were in touch and maintained a close relationship with her at all times. “I knew the most important thing I could do was stay in constant communication with them,” she says.
The supply shortages and economic disruptions did not put a wrench in Harvie’s personal plans, either. During the height of the 2021 pandemic, she was able to renovate an investment property with her dad in just 45 days, an experience that gave her first-hand expertise she is happy to share with her clients as they make their own investment decisions.
