Born and raised in the Chicago area, Jeremy Vitell, broker and team leader of The Vitell Group for Baird & Warner, comes from a long line of Chicago natives who loved serving their community. “My family has been in this same area for more than 70 years,” he says. “My experiences with my family in my local community and the surrounding Chicagoland areas for the past 40 years have helped me to learn the markets and meet people from all walks of life.”
Having learned he wanted to serve his community after enlisting and serving in the military during a time of war, Vitell knew he wanted a career in his hometown that would allow him to be a part of the community fabric. “It was integral to me to help people creating lives for themselves,” he says. “Facilitating a home and business in real estate seemed like a natural fit.”
Employing an educational and driven business style, Vitell is able to effectively address each of his client’s needs, goals and worries. “I try to set appointments to have consultations as a chance to get to know my clients wants and needs ahead of time,” he says. “That allows me to answer the questions on their minds and then go on to document the entire process to properly set their expectations.” Coming from a background as a contractor, Vitell has developed an excellent network to help in every facet of real estate. He’s able to find tradespeople quickly and efficiently for his clients, which allows for unforeseen issues and surprises to be addressed so the transaction of selling or buying is safe and seamless.
Outside of the real estate industry, Vitell is a member of the La Grange Park Chamber of Commerce, the La Grange Area Historical Society, and the current president of the Brookfield-La Grange Park Lions Club and enjoys soccer as his hobby and sport of choice.
