Working solo enables Jason Newman to know his clients on a personal level, provide exceptional service and cultivate lifelong relationships with every buyer, seller and investor he represents.
“I treat each transaction as if it were my own,” says Newman, a real estate broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate. “I have a passion for real estate and truly love helping my clients find their dream home, or sell their home for top dollar.”
Patient, professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, he understands each client’s needs, manages their expectations and provides the guidance necessary to help them achieve their goals.
A fifth-generation Chicagoan and an attorney who practices foreclosure law in all of the areas where he sells properties, Newman’s knowledge of the market, locations, schools and amenities in each community are unmatched. He has also been a homeowner and real estate investor for over 20 years, and he knows his territory well. Newman resides in Chicago, the North Shore, and Long Beach, Indiana, and sells properties in and surrounding all of his hometowns.
His passion for real estate, coupled with his natural ability to counsel and advocate for homeowners, has helped him rise above the competition, earning him a Road to Rolex award in 2021.
Before joining @properties in 2015, he owned his own brokerage, but he made the switch to @properties because he knew they had the tools he needed to best service his clients. “The experience I’ve gained as a litigator provides me with the intangibles that allow me to analyze and negotiate each deal in a manner that other agents simply can’t,” he says. “My clients appreciate the fact that I’m straightforward and involved in every aspect of the transaction from beginning to end.”
A happily married father of two daughters, Newman is also a retired hockey coach who spent five seasons as the director and varsity head coach at Lane Tech High School.
