Gretchen Gullo, Founding Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate Park Ridge

Gretchen Gullo, founding broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate Park Ridge, recounts a very utilitarian reason for getting her real estate license 30 years ago.

“I initially became a Realtor to sell my own personal home, a place in Park Ridge,” says the Arlington Heights native and northwest suburb expert. “Years later, I’m still selling — and still in the same home!” Having previously worked as the executive director of a large nonprofit childcare agency, working with families has long been a passion for Gullo, and the move into real estate provided an unexpected way to serve the community.

“My clients find me truthful, invested in their best interests and committed to helping them have fun with the purchase process,” she says. “My business today is mostly repeat clients and referrals because of that.” Having earned the Five Star Professional award for numerous years and weathering the challenges of the pandemic by learning how to sell virtually and keep clients safe, Gullo continues to write the story of her career in real estate.

“Clients know that my expertise spans from new construction to homes with old character, and they know that I’ll be truthful about the features of that home,” she says. “I’ve been in the business long enough to know what to look for, how to understand a client’s needs and goals and set clear, direct expectations.” The cutting-edge technology and marketing platform that comes with the @properties Christie’s International Real Estate experience, coupled with Gullo’s tireless work ethic and informative style, afford Gullo’s customers the luxury of enjoying the home buying or selling experience while knowing they’re in the best possible hands.

“This is one of the biggest investments of their lives and they deserve my professional transparency and answers to their questions,” says this active church elder and volunteer. “I care about my clients, and after all these years, I still love this business.”
