“I start every day with the same passion, love for this business, and desire to help people that I had in 1986,” Dan Rogers says, despite more than three decades in the industry. He specializes in down payment assistance loans for first-time buyers and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
In 2018, Guaranteed Rate awarded Rogers the Top Net Promoter Score Award. As leader of The Rogers Team, he’s currently ranked in the Top 100 in the country and No. 2 in Illinois for purchase loans closed in 2021. For five years, his team has also been No. 2 in the state for the number of grants provided to homebuyers through Illinois Housing Development Authority.
“Personable” is the word that constantly crops up when clients describe working with Rogers. “Buying a home can be scary and stressful,” he explains. “I understand that and try to make it as smooth and easy as possible. My clients love the ease of working with me and the convenience of being able to reach us seven days a week.” His goal is to make sure clients never have to wonder about their transaction status. “I’m very routine and process-oriented. My follow-up is second to none,” Rogers says. He also strives to keep the human element involved in digital transactions. “I don’t approach it as a transaction,” he says. “It’s the most important purchase of their life.”
Rogers supports the Guaranteed Rate Foundation, Disabled Patriot fund, The Chicago Police Memorial Fund, youth sports and Habitat for Humanity. The charitable trust he founded helps others in need. He’s an active marathoner and past Ironman Triathlete. He’s also a vegan with a passion for good wine, who lives by The Rogers Team motto: “Helping people with a mortgage is not our job, it is our lifestyle.”
