Day or night, every time the phone rings, The Brigham Team Chicago at Union Home Mortgage answers it and stays in front of problems, never behind.

“I love the collaboration between our team and the constant forward-thinking mentality,” says Tim Brigham, branch manager of The Tim Brigham Team, Union Home Mortgage.

Brigham surpasses his goals with the help of teammates Karoline Axler, production manager, and Jeff Gilliana, loan partner. As a rule, he will never ask something of his team that he would not be willing to do himself. “It’s this mentality that has us breaking personal record after personal record,” he says.

Brigham, a 2020 member of Union Home Mortgage’s President’s Club and a recipient of its 2020 Partner Impact Award, exceeded his personal funding record last year and is on track to double it this year. He is also founder of the Superhero Collective, a non-profit that sends volunteers in superhero costumes to hospitals, to brighten the day of sick children and give them toys. In June, the organization gave away a home it acquired and renovated, to the family of a medically fragile child, to make their lives easier.

Brigham and Axler started the first Union Home Mortgage branch in Chicago last year and it has grown every month since then. “I have never been more exited for what we are building in Chicagoland,” Axler says.

At its core, the team is process-driven. “I pride myself on going the extra mile for clients,” Brigham says. “I get to the nuts and bolts and really look out for their best interests.” Accordingly, Gilliana understands that buying a house is unlike anything else. “There are tons of moving parts,” he says. “And we want clients to know what to expect and that we have their backs on all of it.”
