Steve Schneider, Danny Gore & Brad J. Martin, Senior Loan Consultants

With a combined 70 years of experience in lending, the senior loan consultants at loanDepot have the necessary expertise to help find the right loan for each client, and their services don’t stop when the loan is closed. Top loanDepot producers Steve Schneider, Danny Gore and Brad Martin each make sure to stay in contact with clients post-closing. Most of their client testimonials mention their accessibility, honesty, patience in answering questions, and transparency and guidance throughout the process.

The trio comes from diverse backgrounds. Martin was a real estate attorney and served as general counsel for a multi-state mortgage lender, which, he says, has proved invaluable in the lending industry. “I have learned to be proactive, rather than reactive,” he remarks. “If I have concerns on a file, I’ll research it at the onset to prevent things from blowing up during the process.”

Schneider stresses the importance of giving his clients realistic, conservative expectations regarding timelines, documentation and communication. “It’s cliché, but I want to under-promise and over-deliver,” he says. Gore, meanwhile, finds joy in making the process easier for his clients. “Many borrowers hear negative stories about getting a mortgage and then are surprised how painless it is working with the right loan consultant,” he adds.

Schneider says he had a record year in terms of production, while Gore adds that his biggest professional accomplishment of the year has been the ability to navigate the massive increase in volume and still provide his clients with the service and professionalism they expect and deserve.

The three spend time giving back to their community. Schneider is involved with many charitable organizations, like Boots for Babes, The Birthday Party Project, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center, the Anti-Defamation League and more. Martin has sat on the boards of a few nonprofits over the years, including JCYS, the Lurie Children’s medical research board and Giving Rocks Foundation. Gore contributes to several charities, including the Alexa Rose Weiss Foundation and Dancing While Cancering.
