After spending a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Jill Beda Daniels decided to put her many years of litigating to use in the real estate industry. Daniels, an attorney with Jill Daniels LLC, earned mediation certification at the Center for Conflict Resolution, became a collaborative divorce fellow with a focus on real estate within divorce, and quickly started handling real estate closings. “Before I knew it, it became a passion and something I loved very much,” she says. “I love being part of something where we are all working together for a common goal, and you are part of a team.”
Daniels specializes in residential real estate, representing buyers and sellers in the greater Chicagoland area. She launched her own business, Jill Daniels LLC, in 2015. “I love when clients say that I worked hard for them or we made it seamless for them,” she remarks. “We are always there for our clients.”
The years she spent litigating, as well as her mediation experience, prepared her for a career as a real estate attorney. “I work really hard to actively listen to the clients and understand what they are wanting and their concerns,” she says. “We have several systems in place to make sure each and every closing goes smoothly.”
Recently, Daniels received a note from a real estate agent thanking her for making sure a difficult transaction closed. “It really meant so much to me to be recognized,” she relays. Still, she admits there are hard times and long days, both personally and professionally, but those challenges make her a stronger attorney and advocate for her clients.
Active in industry organizations, Daniels was recently named Affiliate of the Year for the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, was accorded 2020 Strategic Partner of the Year by the Women’s Council of Realtors West Suburban and is a member of the school board for Lyons Township High School.
