This mother-daughter team’s roots run deep on the Northwest Side of Chicago. Patty Cerny and Kristen Hack, both residential sales specialists with Baird & Warner, are lifelong residents of the area. The duo specializes in homes in Sauganash, Edgebrook and Wildwood.

While Cerny has been in real estate since 1988, Hack, a former marketing executive, joined her mother in 2015 — an opportunity she couldn’t pass up. “It has been a perfect fit after many years serving clients in the advertising and marketing arena,” explains Hack. “I have been able to bring my marketing skills to the forefront on our team and offer every client a tailored marketing plan specific to their goals.”

Working as a team helps Cerny and Hack serve a greater number of clients and provides complementary skills. “We are both extremely hardworking and client-service-driven,” says the duo. “We truly love what we do and especially love to see our clients achieve their goals, whether it’s buying a larger home for a growing family, a first home or moving on from a longtime home and downsizing. We are there for our clients every step of the way!”

When Cerny and Hack begin working with clients, they start their relationship by sitting down face-to-face to listen to their needs, educate them on the market and explain the process. This approach exceeds many of the Cerny Team’s client expectations. “We go above and beyond,” the team shares. “We consistently hear that the experience was positive from the very beginning.”

When not working with clients, Cerny can be found volunteering for Chicago Animal Care and Control, while Hack is highly active in her community as a coach and member of her children’s school-parent association. Both Cerny and Hack place a high priority on time with family and friends.
