Nick Libert founded EXIT Strategy Realty nearly 12 years ago with the idea of solving some of the inherent problems in the real estate industry. Already having a decade of experience as a real estate agent and manager under his belt at the time, Libert had seen many agents suffering from a lack of tools, a lack of steady commissions or a lack of personal finance skills, even if they were earning a six-figure income.
Now with over 300 agents in two Chicago locations (and announcing their west suburban location this fall), Libert has found his goals for the brokerage far surpassed. His offices have generated over $3.5 million in residual bonuses for EXIT Strategy Realty associates. During the pandemic, the company’s sales production broke records month after month, garnering it RealTrends’ Nation’s Best award, a designation reserved for the top 1.5% of brokerages nationwide for sales volume.
“I knew our unique model of high commission splits, capping fees and intense coaching would resonate with agents,” Libert remarks. “But never did I think we would hit this level of growth and maintain it through such a chaotic time.”
This year, Libert is excited to bring the success of his coaching programs to a more nationwide audience with a new, monthly half-hour show airing on The Travel Channel called “Selling Chicago.” The series will focus on some of EXIT Strategy Realty’s best listings across the city and suburbs, as well as Libert’s unique style of selling and training.
“We have been doing a public consumer education series under the radar for over two years, and it’s created such value for our buyers and sellers.” Libert says. “Now we have this unique opportunity to spread the word about the empowerment of investing in property nationwide.”
Libert is about to begin his third term on the Chicago Association of Realtors’ board of directors and is set to run his third marathon for charity this fall.
