From a very young age, Liz Jones was interested in real estate — so much so that she would ask her parents to let her walk through open houses when visiting her grandparents in Naples, Florida. She was in awe of the architecturally significant neighborhoods with large, opulent homes. So, it’s no surprise that she seamlessly transitioned from a career in advertising and digital media to real estate.
“It felt like no matter how high you climbed the corporate ladder, there was always a ceiling,” Jones says. “I wanted make a difference and help people. I also wanted unlimited earning potential, with the freedom to manage myself.”
Jones’ clients know she truly cares about them; the busy mother of two makes it a priority to get her clients’ needs met. She stresses the importance of client-centered business practices, which she believes isn’t hard to do if you love your job. “I understand how overwhelming it can be to buy or sell a home, and I want to take any stress off my clients by continuously guiding them through the process. Being prepared means they can enjoy themselves along the way. Real estate should be FUN!” she exclaims.
Jones goes above and beyond to protect her clients’ best interests. Even during a pandemic, she honed in on client connections and pivoted her business strategy to exceed the goals she’d set for herself three times over. She attributes much of her success to the team of business partners around her, which she says allows for a sense of relief, as she knows that whatever might happen, she’s got all her clients’ bases covered.
Jones was voted best real estate agent in the Chicago Reader’s 2020 Best Of Chicago issue, which she says was especially meaningful because the votes came from her peers, not sales figures. She’s a Top 500 Real Producer in Chicago and has consistently been among the top 20% of producers in her Keller Williams market center, as well as a top performer in the Mid-American region.
