Marta Lazic, a broker associate with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, found her way to the industry rather naturally as she comes from a family with a background in construction and renovation. In fact, her first home searches and analysis began well before her working as a real estate agent. “My parents flipped a few homes, and I was always the one to find the next project,” she shares. Her father is a general contractor and her mother works in interior design, and after working with her family, she decided to enter the real estate arena full time.
After developing a trained eye for investments, her career evolved in to representing everyone from first time home buyers to new development projects to luxury properties. No matter the client she works with, she uses a no pressure approach that allows them to feel supported and informed. “I view listings as if it is my own purchase, and disclose all details,” she says. “I am very knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of the home.” She is protective over her client’s needs, and because of her rapport based on trust and loyalty, she forges lasting relationships with both buyers and sellers.
No detail is forgotten under Lazic’s watch. Her analytical nature allows her to protect her clients from absorbing any unnecessary costs and ultimately getting them the best deal possible – whether buy or list side. She works closely with her lender and attorney to strategize the best way to represent their clients as each deal can be different from the next.
The Chicago Association of Realtors, of which Lazic is also a member, awarded her as a Top Producer in 2019 and 2020.
In her free time, Lazic enjoys visiting local coffee shops and bakeries in different neighborhoods in the Chicagoland area. She also frequents the beach and waterfront areas, taking her dog for walks and biking along the city’s lakefront paths.
