Evan Reynolds, Principal Broker
Abigail Reynolds, Transaction Coordinator
Growing up, Evan Reynolds’ parents provided for the family through their own business. “It makes me happy that my wife, Abigail, and I are able to carry on the tradition,” Reynolds says. He was about to finish college when the thought of a salaried position, living on a fixed income the rest of his life, did not appeal to him. “With real estate, the success of your business ties directly to how hard you work for it,” Reynolds says. “Coming from my background in college athletics, I found this principle extremely attractive.”
Reynolds, principal broker of the Evan Reynolds Group at Compass, personally shows 600-plus homes per year, ranging in price from $80,000 to $900,000. “There is no home or neighborhood I have not seen, in my market,” says Reynolds. He works with buyers and sellers in his hometown of Palatine, as well as the surrounding suburbs. He is joined by Abigail, who handles all of the paperwork and operations, freeing him up to focus on sales and spending time with clients.
Clients enjoy working with Reynolds because of his track record in sales, open line of communication and robust market knowledge, not only of properties but also negotiation strategies and the inspection and loan process. What’s more, he has a knack for knowing what clients want before they do. “My clients appreciate that I am a reassuring, calming voice for them throughout this stressful time of their lives,” Reynolds says.
He prides himself on finding buyers homes that meet their specific criteria and yielding sellers the greatest return on their investments in the shortest amount of time. Reynolds has a trusted repertoire of vendors, from lenders to handymen, ready to assist his clients’ every need.
A member of the North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors (NSBAR), Reynolds earned the association’s “2020 Top 1% by Residential Units Sold” award and its “2020 Top 5% by Residential Sales Volume” award. He is also a 2020 HomeLight Top Producer Nationwide.
