Emma Lacosse, Broker

Jessica Stetz, Broker

Ashley Rashid, Broker

Steve Davis, Senior Broker

Rafay Qamar, Principal Broker and Team Lead

Qamar Group applies the motto, “No man left behind” to all they do, from making sure teammates hit their goals to helping clients purchase tangible assets that appreciate and later sell at a profit.

The team serves first-time, move-up and luxury buyers and sellers; local and international investors; rehabbers; and renters throughout Chicagoland. A close-knit group made up of principal broker and team lead Rafay Qamar and brokers Steve Davis, Emma LaCosse, Jessica Stetz and Ashley Rashid, it’s clear to those who work with them that most were friends before they became colleagues. “It creates a family atmosphere that makes clients feel at ease,” Davis says.

The team’s expert negotiation skills help them craft deals that often exceed client expectations. “My mission is to ensure that not a single dollar is left on the table,” Qamar says, noting that each broker he leads is on track to complete their Real Estate Negotiation Expert designation. “Our clients trust us to create the best deal for them, and that’s why we get hired.” Qamar often jokes that, if he were not in real estate, he would be an FBI hostage negotiator.

By June, Qamar Group had closed nearly $40 million in transactions year-to-date and hit what Qamar calls “the lifestyle trifecta” with several different clients. “We helped them sell homes in the suburbs, buy empty nester or downsized condos in Chicago, and invest in cash-flow properties,” he says.

With goals to expand its staff and reach, the team recently opened its first office and retail shop in downtown Skokie and is preparing to open its second in Chicago.

Exclusive real estate partners of Best Buddies Illinois, a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities, Qamar Group enjoys participating in activities together outside of work.
