When advocating to secure the best deal for buyers, sellers, renters and developers, Patrick Teets will do whatever it takes. “Clients appreciate that I fight for them,” says Teets, who as vice president of sales at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty serves clients on the Near West and Near North sides of the city, as well as in the suburbs. “I always have their best interests in mind.”
From the start, Teets puts clients at ease by laying out the process, the timeline and what is required of them. He also brings to the table firsthand knowledge of the fantastic amenities in the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park and Old Town areas, since he has lived in each of these neighborhoods at some point over the past eight years.
Early on in his career while working in a supply chain role, Teets saw several of his brother’s friends find success working in different facets of real estate and became determined to make his own way in the industry. “I looked at what each of them did and saw the unlimited opportunity that existed,” Teets says. “I loved that I could bet on myself.” Plus, the analytical part of his previous career gave him the ability to understand data and easily explain it to clients, affording them an advantage on the buy and list sides.
Teets’ determination, persistence and strong work ethic have taken him far in a short amount of time. He has been named a top-producing agent by the Chicago Association of Realtors for the last two of his 4 1/2 years in the industry. He has been able to grow his business year over year and learn from his previous experiences, which has allowed him to deliver superior service to his clients. Outside of work, Teets enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, dining out, and being outdoors, including on the water.
