Morgan K. Sage, Realtor

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago

As the first of her friends to purchase real estate at age 23, Morgan Sage was happy to escort others in her social circle to showings and provide input on their real estate experiences. Little did she know, seven years later she’d become a successful real estate professional.

But first, Sage gathered skills and expertise that would later prove vital to her success. After graduating from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, she began working in customer relationship management in the information technology space. She became exceptionally good at streamlining processes, analyzing data and creating positive user experiences.

In the fall of 2003, Sage decided to pursue a career in real estate. Now a Realtor at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, she has been inducted into the company’s hall of fame and was presented with its Legend award in 2017. Sage has also been recognized as a Chicago Association of Realtors top producer every year since 2008 and was among Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2018 most influential brokers.

For Sage, real estate is about so much more than the transaction. “I view my work with clients as the start of a long-term relationship to grow and blossom for years to come. I hope to be able to represent my clients in the future as they move up or downsize, and I know if I serve and educate them well, that will happen,” she says. “My clients are my priority, and I want them to be fully knowledgeable about the sales history and projected future value of the property in question.”

Sage has found that, by taking care of all the little details, transactions are much smoother and more enjoyable for everyone, especially when it comes to serving sellers. “I’ll schedule repairs, cleaning, staging and photography. I oversee everything, and I put the home in its best light so we can sell as quickly as possible,” she says. “I do the heavy lifting so the client can sit back and enjoy the experience.”
