It’s not every day that you encounter someone with real estate, design, analysis and negotiation expertise. Justin Lucas has been a talent management consultant at Deloitte and vice president of learning and development at Northern Trust. At Deloitte, he developed the skills he uses to analyze real estate market data; at Northern Trust, he honed negotiation skills and his ability to translate complex processes into easily understood information. These skills help him guide his clients as he informs them about the real estate market and the process to come. Indeed, clients find him patient, professional, and adept at anticipating and resolving problems.
Lucas transitioned to real estate three years ago, after the tragedy of his older brother’s sudden and unexpected death. Recognizing that life can change in an instant, Lucas decided to make a change and pursue his real estate dream. Motivated to serve clients with unwavering dedication, he was recognized in 2019 by the Chicago Association of Realtors as a top producer and finished among CAR’s top 1% of all real estate agents in the city. In 2016, his alma mater, East Carolina University, awarded him a 40 Under 40 Leadership Award in recognition of his impact within his field of work and his community.
Lucas operates throughout Chicagoland, from the North Shore to the South Loop and out to the western suburbs. His ability to uncover clients’ goals and motivations by asking the right questions generates trust and enables him to make the process seamless, informative and uncomplicated for those navigating their real estate journey.
Outside of work, Lucas has other passions, including a love for exploring, inventing recipes and playing soccer in a men’s league through Chicago Fire Rec Soccer. His proudest personal success was when he combined his love for real estate and design in finishing a complete renovation of a home. In addition to being a Realtor, Lucas is a member of the Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce.
