A self-described “real estate matchmaker” with a degree in architecture, a passion for sales and a love for people, Holly Kapsa Priestley is the perfect blend of personable and professional. A senior real estate broker with @properties, Priestley specializes in first-time homebuyers and resale clients in the northwest and western suburbs. “I have always been a suburban girl at heart,” says the Arlington Heights native. “I couldn’t be more proud to represent the community.”
Since joining the real estate industry 10 years ago, Priestley has built her personal brand around her optimism and enthusiasm for the job. “I love showing houses to my clients and helping them bring their dreams to life,” she says, noting that she strives to bring lightheartedness to every transaction while remaining cognizant and respectful of her clients’ time and money.
In 2018, Priestley sold more than $10 million in real estate, earning her place in @properties’ Road to Rolex program. A year later, she gave birth to her daughter, Elizabeth, making the last two years memorable in every way. “I’ll never forget the day she was born,” says Priestley. “I was negotiating deals and still working!”
Maintaining a strong connection to her community, Priestley is a member of the local chamber of commerce and zoning board of appeals, in addition to serving as an ambassador to new businesses for the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors’ Merchant Board. “I love supporting local businesses,” she says, citing a stroll through town with her family as a favorite pastime. “Some other hobbies of mine are being a mom and a wife. I know it sounds small, but I love my family.”
