Jorge A. Flores, Vice President of Banking

Neighborhood Loans

With 23 years of experience working in real estate, Jorge A. Flores approaches his work and his clients with a sense of compassion, always finding the best solution for each situation. Flores is the vice president of banking at Neighborhood Loans, where he has worked for 10 years. He manages various types of loans, including those for first-time homebuyers, refinancers, and mortgages via FHA, VA and conventional banking.

Flores jumped straight into the business after high school, working at a local savings and loan bank. He was able to lean on his bilingual skills to work with a wide client base. He also took advantage of numerous schooling and training opportunities at his company to find his feet as a loan officer and a lender.

Now with more than two decades’ worth of experience under his belt, Flores credits his success to his attentive, friendly and compassionate personality, as well as his drive for finding the very best solution for his clients’ needs and helping them achieve their homebuying dreams. “I look at my job as more of a hobby, as I am passionate about what I do,” he says. “We all help each other out as a big family. We even have Tequila Tuesdays!”

Flores works closely with clients, educating them on the process of homebuying all the way from preapproval to closing. He is committed to guiding his clients through what can be a stressful process, doing his best to make every deal a successful one and, first and foremost, fulfilling the needs of his clients.

Flores has also focused on growing and leading his team, which has in turn helped him grow his business and maintain high levels of customer service. The team’s ability to handle volume while being personal and dedicated to each client has been instrumental to their success.

Flores is an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, the Chicago Association of Realtors and CAR’s Young Professionals Network.
