Dan Rogers, SVP of Mortgage Lending & Strategic Growth

Guaranteed Rate

For 34 years, Dan Rogers has brought passion and commitment to the mortgage business, constantly setting new standards for what it means to be a consummate lending professional. “I have the same love for this business and desire to help people as I did in 1986,” says Rogers, a senior vice president of mortgage lending and strategic growth at Guaranteed Rate.

Offering a wide range of mortgage programs, Rogers and his team of six helped 489 people find a new home or refinance their home in 2019 alone, surpassing their previous record and coming in among the top 100 in the country and at No. 4 in Illinois for loans closed. Individually, Rogers has been the No. 2 loan officer for the Illinois Housing Development Authority for three years in a row. In 2018, he was given Guaranteed Rate’s award for top net promoter score. “My experience helps me rise above the competition, because my referral partners know that if I issue a preapproval, we have done our due diligence and that letter is rock solid,” says Rogers.

Joining Guaranteed Rate in 2010 after co-owning a mortgage lending company for 15 years, Rogers integrates digital innovations into his process, evolving at the industry’s fast clip while providing a hands-on approach at the same high level. “The Rogers Team lives by a motto: ‘Helping people with a mortgage is not our job, it is our lifestyle!’” he says. “Our customers love the ease of working with us, the communication that we provide and the accessibility of being able to reach us seven days a week.”

Outside of work, Rogers is a father of three beautiful young ladies. An avid marathoner, having run both the New York and Boston marathons in 2019, he supports the Disabled Patriot Fund, the Chicago Police Department, multiple youth sports teams, Habitat for Humanity and the Guaranteed Rate Foundation.
