A Chicago native and real estate industry lifer, Mark Raffaelli tells it like it is, helping his clients make the informed decisions needed to bring a transaction to a successful conclusion. Working with luxury buyers, sellers and property investors in Chicagoland and the surrounding suburbs, Raffaelli, a broker associate with Compass, welcomes a good challenge, most recently selling a 23-unit building west of Bucktown.
“It is one of the larger buildings in the area and ultimately sold for a record-high price,” he says. “Working on such a large transaction has more moving parts than a typical listing, so really staying on top of it and doing my due diligence to get it sold, and for the price my seller wanted, was a massive accomplishment for me and my business.”
Starting out as a real estate sales consultant in 2001, Raffaelli has since secured his reputation as one of Chicago’s most sought-after brokers. Raffaelli is a co-founder of DisasterRelief.Fund, an organization devoted to serving areas of the country affected by natural disasters. “It is a project I am exceptionally proud to be a part of, and I look forward to seeing it grow over time,” he says.
