Always ready to help people make dreams come true, Evelyn Fred works tirelessly to change lives for the better. As a residential real estate broker at Baird & Warner’s Lincoln Park office, Fred, a Chicago native, serves private sellers and investors in the city and suburbs. Known for her loyalty, integrity and industry knowledge, Fred strives to create working relationships founded on mutual trust and openness. “I want my clients to feel comfortable asking questions and to know they are getting an honest response,” she says.

Prior to becoming a broker in 2007, Fred worked at Budget Rent a Car as the advertising/sales/promotions manager for the international division, and to this day, she continues to apply the marketing skills she developed there to bring additional value to every client. Fred is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Seller’s Representative Specialist, Short Sale and Foreclosures Specialist, Certified Real Estate Negotiator, Certified International Property Specialist, and Accredited Distressed Property Realtor. She is also bilingual in Spanish and English.

This year, Fred beat established commercial brokers in a listing presentation competition regardless of having no experience in commercial real estate. “The sellers told me that they were holding my presentation as the ‘standard’ for all the other brokers,” says Fred.

In 2018, Fred was named among the Top 500 Seven Star award recipients from Broker Agent Advisor and is a member of the Baird & Warner Chairman’s Club. She is a past president of the Chicago Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Chicago Association of Realtors and Illinois Realtors. As a cancer survivor, Fred is an active supporter of the Cancer Fighters Network.

Fred loves to cook for her husband, daughter, and friends, as well as dining out and traveling.
