DeClerk brings seven years of experience in real estate and a diverse background to the team. She gained valuable communication skills and learned how to be patient, compassionate and adaptable when earning an undergraduate degree in psychology and through her work in the healthcare industry. “It helps me navigate problematic situations and remain calm,” she says. “My clients know I am their supportive, but objective, third-party advocate.” With an average list time of 13 days last year and deals that had a list-to-sale-price ratio of 99 percent, DeClerk’s numbers are well above average for Chicago. Both women are dedicated Realtor members. Outside of work, DeClerk volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and enjoys working out, visiting city street festivals and traveling. McCormick volunteers at Realtors to the Rescue, an organization that supports animal shelters.
