Enthralled by the competitive nature of mortgage lending and inspired by the opportunity to create meaningful relationships with real estate professionals and clients, Andrew Chevalier jumped headfirst into the industry over 13 years ago and has been excelling ever since. “I have enough experience to know what to do in almost all situations,” says Chevalier, a Senior Home Lending Advisor at Chase. “I’m persistent in every way and will do anything to help my customers reach their homeownership goals.”
Specializing in jumbo residential mortgages and refinances ranging from $500,000 to $3 million, Chevalier takes a consultative approach and nurtures an open dialogue. “The clients in this space tend to be busy with a lot of things in their lives and I make the process simple for them,” he says, adding that he works with everyone from students to executives, some of whom have unique income situations or need help completing the necessary paperwork.
In 2018, Chevalier was among the nominees for the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association’s “best mortgage loan officer at a large bank” award and for the second year, Chase recognized him as a National Achiever. However, his success isn’t his alone. “I know how to delegate, and my team does a wonderful job at its respective roles in the process, which helps me focus on what I’m best at: communicating with clients.”
Aware of his good fortune, Chevalier balances his work at Chase with volunteering. “I helped launch a charitable campaign to feed the homeless people in our communities and participated in Feeding World Hunger and Tutoring Chicago,” he says.
Chevalier is a member of Wilmette/Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce, and this past February, moved to Highland Park from the Gold Coast.
Outside work, he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, reading, traveling and spending quality time with his family.
