Having served hundreds of clients over his 18-year career as a mortgage originator, Andrew O’Brien knows the biggest markers of success are the smiles on his buyers’ faces at the end of a transaction. As a loan originator at Neighborhood Loans, O’Brien welcomes all buyers, no matter their budget or end goal. “I work with anybody who has the dream to own a home or save more money on their current mortgage,” he says. “All of my clients are treated as if they are million-dollar buyers regardless of whether they are buying a $75,000 home or a $1 million home.”
Recognized as one of the top originators in the state, O’Brien sets realistic expectations from day one, ensuring that his clients are prepared for any obstacles that may come their way. “I am always looking out for their best interest,” he says. “I have a positive, energetic demeanor and am always available to answer questions, which helps stave off frustration or anxiety. Regardless of whether I’m delivering great news or challenging news, I will set them up on a path to homeownership.”
Originally introduced to this career path through his family, O’Brien knew it was a perfect fit from the jump because he could use his passions for math and service to navigate clients through a painless mortgage transaction. “Clients appreciate how smooth the process is,” he says.
O’Brien supplements his college degree with continuing education courses and is most inspired by his family and friends.
