Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Ryan Preuett’s extensive network has laid a solid foundation for rapid growth year after year. He is consistently ranked among the top 1 percent of Chicagoland brokers by the Chicago Association of Realtors and was featured in Crain’s 2018 Most Influential Residential Real Estate Brokers. Preuett was also recognized in top 20 Chicagoland brokers by volume in the first quarter of 2018 in Chicago Agent magazine. He has maintained an average sales price of $1.25 million since getting his license in 2012, quickly making a name for himself in the luxury sector.

His growth can be largely attributed to a high level of organization and attention to detail. Some strategic hires and technology have enabled him to do what he does best: interact with clients to understand their specific needs and develop a comprehensive solution to achieve them. Preuett has proven himself to be an incredible networker and maintains relationships with brokers in almost every major market across the United States. By doing so, he is able to assist his clients looking for second, third and fourth homes through his broker network while learning what is working to market homes in other markets.

Service will always be a priority for Preuett, and he is constantly looking for ways to add value for his clients. That could mean sharing a recommendation from his vetted list of attorneys, inspectors, lenders, contractors and handymen — or helping them get the impossible restaurant reservation, ticket, hotel room or event space. Access is something he has always prided himself on, and he works hard to provide the same for his clients.

Preuett is active in several organizations, including New Story, a nonprofit partnered with Sotheby’s International Realty that puts 100 percent of profits toward transforming dangerous living environments into communities of safe sustainable homes. He is also active in the Jameson Charitable Foundation, University of Michigan Alumni Association, Top Agent Network Advisory Board and the Forbes Real Estate Council.
