Sara O’Connor, Executive Account Manager

Greater Illinois Title Company

Greater Illinois Title Company

Named 2018 Affiliate of the year from Chicago Association of Realtors, Sara O’Connor has earned Greater Illinois Title Company’s Multi-Million Dollar Sales Award for four consecutive years.

Focusing on intense professional development has helped her facilitate the closing of numerous residential and commercial projects by providing customized services tailored to each transaction. “This allows me to illustrate to consumers and clients Greater Illinois Title Company’s professionalism and best practices, to ensure a positive and compliant real estate settlement experience,” she says.

Feedback from clients, Realtors and real estate attorneys has always been positive. They praise her for doing whatever was needed to make the closing happen and for encouraging them to be the best they can be at their jobs. “My success is attributable to getting personally involved in each transaction and making certain that my clients’ delivery standards are met within their defined timeframes and those of their clients,” she says.

Before she worked in real estate, O’Connor was a top-producing loan officer for Wintrust Bank. She left behind that career to broaden her network of, and alliances in, the real estate industry, and for the challenge, to strive to be successful in a different area of real estate transactions.

Actively involved in numerous industry organizations, she was the chair of the 2017 Chicago Association of Realtors Sales Awards Committee, and is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association, Real Estate Investor’s Association and Real Estate Finance Forum.

She does it all while caring for her beautiful daughter, Nora Kelly, who was born four months premature. “She is a miracle baby and feisty like me,” O’Connor says. “I am so proud of her and happy to be a mom. She has provided me strength, to take one day a time, and showed me there are no limits to what I can accomplish.”
