Throughout Danny Glick’s career, he has learned the importance of listening, educating and connecting with his customers. “In real estate, there can be so much outside noise, emotion and stress in the buying and selling of a property,” says Glick, a senior broker with @properties, who has ranked among the top 1 percent of Chicago Association of Realtors for the last 15 years. “It’s my job to weave clients through what can oftentimes be a complex process so that they are ultimately empowered to make their own informed decisions with confidence and conviction.”
Glick assists buyers and sellers in the sale and acquisition of condominiums, co-ops, townhomes and single-family homes in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Near North, River West, West Loop, North Center, Lincoln Square and Logan Square. He also works with builders and developers in evaluating land and development sites and then selling their newly-built construction. Glick has earned designations including Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Accredited Buyers Representative, Council of Residential Specialists and Graduate, Realtor Institute.
He says his biggest accomplishment this past year had little to do with sales and more to do with the people who place their trust and confidence in his team every day. “Testimonials from clients giving us five-star satisfaction scores grew by more than 300 percent,” he says. “There’s no better measure for success than that!” His client satisfaction is in large part due to his listings selling at an average of 97.7 percent of asking price.
Glick’s success did not happen by chance. Starting his professional career with IBM in sales and marketing, he discovered that working for a huge company managing “widgets” was not as fulfilling as he had hoped. Helping people in a meaningful way, working for himself and having no limit to his earning potential were top on Glick’s list of things he wanted a career to satisfy. Real estate was the perfect fit, and his clients have been rewarded with peace of mind ever since.
In his spare time, Glick likes to swim, bike, run, play tennis and practice yoga. After nearly two decades in the business, he can still honestly say, “I truly love what I do.”
