Magellan’s 4th Festival in the Park At Lakeshore East another Hit

by Chicago Agent

Magellan Development Group held its 4th annual Festival in the Park at Lakeshore East on Saturday, Sept. 25, with attendance of “at least 500 residents.”

The popular Expo-style Festival was created to introduce residents of the growing neighborhood a block north of Millennium Park to participants in the unique Magellan Rewards program.

Magellan Rewards cards provide members with access to the best Chicago has to offer, from entertainment, health & fitness, in-home services, private promotions and special events.  New and exciting offers are continuously added to the program online.

“This program is focused on making our residents’ lives easier.  It’s a golden opportunity for merchants and service providers to directly market to thousands of our residents and neighbors. At the same time, it creates an incentive to live in our community.” observed Robin Loewenberg Berger, chief marketing officer of Magellan Development.

The Festival includes samples, demonstrations and giveaways by participating merchants and service providers.

Among the 60 vendors participating in this year’s event were Bark Busters, Blue Plate, Café RoM, Chicago Architecture Foundation, The Elysian Hotel Spa, Fifth Third Bank, Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Golden Girls Chicago – Spray Tan, Just Grapes, Lime Light Catering, M. Grace Design, Centered Chef, The Palm, The Park Grill, Perl Mortgage, Riva Restaurant, Spa Bark, SuZan Kletzien Design, Total Wellness, Wash Me Green, Wonderful Walls, TeamiFit, plus many more.

New this year were an acoustic live music performance by Franklin, three complimentary fitness classes, Yoga by Trump Spa (11am), Intro to Ballroom Dance by Fred Astaire Studio (11:30am) and Ballet Sculpt by the Elysian Hotel (12noon). All of the classes will take place in the award-winning Park
