What was your first job in the realty industry?
My first job was as a Realtor/sales associate.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the Plainfield Shorewood area of Will County and moved to LaGrange in 1997.
What is your favorite free-time activity?
Working out, we have a full gym in our basement
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Go on vacation to a relaxing environment
If you weren’t a Realtor, what would you be?
Defense attorney
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Tony Robbins, I have always admired his motivational style and humor. I like positive people.
What is your favorite place to “hang out?”
At home with my wife, Tracey, and daughter, Kailey
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Patience, not everyone moves as fast as I do
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? LaGrange Business Association and West Suburban Chamber of Commerce
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
2009 Realtor of the Year for Mainstreet Organization of Realtors and 2008 Business Leader of the Year for West Suburban Chamber of Commerce
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “The Making of Facebook”
What is your favorite restaurant?
Fogo de Chao, partly because it’s my daughter’s favorite
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago?
I love the Wrigley Building, the historic Water Tower and Navy Pier.
What kind of car do you drive?
2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer

San Diego
What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Hang the following on the wall above your desk: The small or big difference between average agents and top producers is that average agents only do what they feel comfortable doing, and put off what they don’t like to do while top producers do things that they don’t like to do because they know those things are important and make the difference.
